Baruch College is offering a dynamic and interactive summer enrichment program for high school students going into 10th and 11th grade. While the program is grounded in experiential learning and critical thinking, it is also social and recreational, designed for fun and engagement in a stress-free environment. Located on 24th Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, Baruch has the experience, resources, expertise and state-of-the-art facilities needed to deliver a quality summer program.

NYC Summer Camp for HS Students

 
Summer in the City Day Camp is a 4 week full-day program and begins Monday, July 6, 2009 and runs through to Friday, July 31, 2009. Each day of camp will run from 9am – 5pm with lunch provided.  Two cohorts of 35 students each will experience two workshops or seminars a day, one NYC field trip per week, SAT prep (including 2 diagnostics), recreation, group activities, oral communication training, video blogs, and a group competition culminating in presentations and lap-top awards for first place.

Field Trip Days
 
One day each week, students will be accompanied on field trips to exciting destinations throughout New York City. Public transportation to and from field trips will be provided and will be supervised by counselors and the Camp Coordinator. Lunch will not be provided on days when there is a field trip and students are encouraged to bring their own lunches or have lunch money for the day.
